| One Left Standing |  | | AppNet Solutions wins the 2008 Fall League Coed Championship | | AppNet Solutions swept two games from The Tribe on Friday night to win the 2008 Fall league championship. AppNet, playing from the consolation bracket which The Tribe knocked them to, forced the "if necessary" game with a 9-3 win and then took the nightcap 15-7 to win their second Fall championship in the past three years.
Congratulations to The Tribe on another fine season. The consistent line drive after line drive hitting team definitely raised the bar for this Fall season. The Tribe finished in the top 3 for the third consecutive Fall season, two as Constant Threat..
Kevin Thomas garnered the 2008 Fall League Playoff MVP with a fantastic performance. Thomas went 15-for-20 for a 0.750 average during the playoffs with 11 runs, 12 RBI, 2 triples and 2 ground rule homers. More impressively, he did this from the #12 spot in the Appnet batting order.
