| Down to the Wire |  | | | Thirty teams started this rain soaked season and only four remain. Two new champions will be crowned in the Northern and Southern Divisions this season.
In the Northern Division, Christopher’s Cure sent three-time defending champion AppNet Solutions packing by winning their semifinal series two games to one. In the other semifinal, The Tribe dispatched of Appetites on Main in two games. Their best-of-five series starts this Wednesday at 7:45pm on the Upper Field at the Complex.
In the Southern Division, Jitters is once again back in the finals after a one year hiatus. Jitters lost a close series to Breen Company in 2007 in what was the first Southern Division championship ever. Move over Planet Granite, Synthes is the new surprise team in 2009 to make the finals. Six-seed Synthes defeated the 3rd and 1st seeds on their way to the championship series, and now faces the formidable 2nd seed. This best-of-five series starts with a doubleheader on Thursday starting at 6:15pm on the Upper Field at the Complex.
