| 2009 Fall Ball Registration |  | | | Registration for the 2009 Fall leauge has begun. Returning teams from 2009 need to go to the Forms page in order to secure their spot in the league. Returning teams have until Saturday, August 15th to guarantee their spot. After August 15th, we will go to the waiting list to fill out any remaining spots. We’re hoping to jump from 20 to 22 teams this season if we are able to get the fields we need.
Teams that want to get on the waiting list can go to the Forms link above as well. The cost for the Fall league is $550 for Spring teams with the same sponsor and $600 for new teams or teams with new sponsors. This is due to liability insurance that needs to be purchased for new teams. Each team is scheduled 8 regular season games and is entered in the double elimination tournament at the end of the year.
Money for returning teams is due Friday, August 21st. Money for new teams will be due on Friday, August 28th.
Before you decide to enter your team in the Fall, please remember that the Fall season only lasts two months and extreme flexibility is required. Your team needs to be willing to play any night of the week (we play Monday through Friday) plus possibly Sunday at the end of October if there is a lot of rain. We do take requests for bad dates/times for the regular season but are unable to do this during the playoff tournament.
Two other rules to be aware of for our Fall league, your three women must bat at the top of your lineup, either 1st, 3rd and 5th or 2nd, 4th and 6th. We start the count at one ball and one strike and this season there will be NO courtesy foul at two strikes, you foul, you’re out. |
