Ace John Wutetig pitched another gem, adding to his "K" total in Baxter’s 30-18 win over Synthes. Dave Loescher and part time assistant coach, Bryan Stewart, "had no regard for human life," scoring nearly half of the teams runs. Another great hitting performance by the Baxter’s ladies secured the win.
Despite having trouble defensively, Synthes’s bats were alive and kicking with perfect performances by Brett Kersh (4-for-4), Kevin Snyder (3-for-3), Tim Reed (3-for-3), and Vince Mandes (3-for-3). Synthes’s ladies showed up strong again as Toni Brozzetti went 2-for-3 with a double, and Mariah Bierds went 1-for-1 before coming out of the game with a leg injury. Snyder and Kersh split time on the mound.
